Bible Studies

“So faith comes out of hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ” (Romans 10:17)

Join us this spring as we continue our in-depth look at the book of Romans! The Bible is a book that is full of life and light, but we may often find it difficult to fully grasp. Our discussion-based Bible study on Romans a great opportunity to better know the word of God and benefit from the experiences and understanding that others have gained through their Christian walk.

To accommodate everybody’s busy schedules, we offer two Bible studies each week that run in parallel and cover the same verses. Feel free to attend the session that best fits your schedule. Also feel free to bring your meal and eat during the Bible study if you are on your lunch break.

Both Bible studies will be held in Houston Hall, Room 301:
Mondays, 5-6pm
Fridays, 12-1pm

2s and 3s: Small Group Time

“For where there are two or three gathered into My name, there am I in their midst.” (Matthew 18:20)

We enjoy the fellowship in the Bible studies, but we’ve found that smaller groups can allow for more personal fellowship and allow for more flexibility in scheduling. Twos and threes groups read the Bible or other ministry, pray, or simply have fellowship. If you are interested in starting a twos and threes group, please contact us.

Home Gatherings

There are several Christian families in the area that live very close to campus (within walking distance or a quick ride on Penn Transit) and graciously open their homes on Friday nights for a time of dinner, singing, and fellowship. As great as college can be, the stress and busy schedules of academics and extracurriculars are sometimes a little overwhelming. Home gatherings are a great opportunity to get off campus, spend time with other believers, have a delicious home cooked meal, and leave the worries of college behind for a few hours. If you are interested in coming, please contact us for details.

Outings & Spring Retreat

We have a number of large-group activities, like game nights, canoeing, apple picking, barbecues, and a weekend retreat each semester. Most of these events include Christian students from other campuses in the Philly area. Our Spring Retreat, which is open to those who have been involved in our club activities this year, will be from February 21 – 23. For more information about the retreat, please visit our registration page.
